Always follow garment label instructions when pretreating and laundering your clothes. For colored garments, test an inside seam for colorfastness. If the garment is washable, follow the instructions below.
Dye transfer is typically hard to remove. You may, however, try the following instructions: Wash the garment with an excessive amount of Persil Color powder in the maximum recommended temperature on the garment label. If coloration remains, wash again with corresponding Persil powder and a color safe bleach for colored fabrics. For white fabrics use a chlorine bleach, but then afterwards wash garment with Universal Persil powder once again. If coloration still remains remove stains with a commercial color remover (usually located in the laundry area, if not ask the store assistant). To prevent future color transfer, do not leave wet clothing in the washer after the cycle is complete. Also, remember to properly sort light and dark clothes before washing.
